Newport Music Festival Special Smackdown Festival

This three-part series was a special “Festival within a Festival” at Newport, where the Debussy/Prokofiev Smackdown was extended to a Children’s Concert, a Smackdown in the Chamber and a Smackdown at the Pianos. The audiences ranged from age 5 to 91! Many thanks to David Gonzalez, poet/narrator, Eugene Tzikindelean, violin, Jiri Barta, cello, and Roberto Plano, piano, for lending their great talent for the occasion. Also Elmer Booze and Megan for turning many, many pages!
