Capping off a wonderful trip to Madrid, this concert in Guadarrama’s Cultural Center, hosted by an old friend and colleague, Daniel Del Pino, was a highlight of my trip. Results were close, but Prokofiev won. However, some interesting subdivisions: Pianists went for Debussy (usually Prokofiev!) and the two younger segments went for Debussy while the two older segments went for Prokofiev. All three rounds were quite close overall. Thank you Guadarrama for a wonderful experience! Muchas grácias!
