Since my last visit to Skidmore 12 years ago, the College added the Zankel Music Center, and a fabulous Hamburg Steinway. It was a great pleasure to engage with the piano students, as well as the Saratoga Springs audience. It was a major Debussy win, with Prokofiev only able to shine in specific segments: Round 4 (Toccata!) and the two age brackets under 40. Not seen in the results, but reflective of the general trend, more than double the number of people voted all-Debussy vs. those who voted all-Prokofiev. Looking forward to next time at Skidmore!
